Reaching and growing kids and families in the name of Jesus Christ.

Sunday Mornings at CFCC

At each of our Sunday morning services, we offer classes for babies through 5th grade. When you arrive at the check-in desk in the kid’s hallway (on either side of the lobby), the greeter will give you a registration form to fill out. Children are grouped by their age/grade level for fun, creative, and age-appropriate Bible teaching! Please let us know of any and all allergies, medical or behavioral special needs, so we can best help your children.

Taking care of your children

CFCC will not give any snacks due to food allergy and sensitivity concerns, unless prior permission is asked for special events. Babies and toddlers in the nursery are encouraged to bring a diaper bag with any necessary bottles or drinks. We will only give children bottles, drinks, or snacks from a child's own diaper bag. Diaper changes and bathroom assistance are done as needed and within view of another volunteer/staff in the room.

Sickness Policy: We ask that a child be fever and symptom free for at least 24 hours before entering any of our programs or events. If a child is quarantined from school due to a positive COVID-19 test or close contact, we ask that you please wait until that quarantine is over before returning to CFCC's programs or events, unless proof of a negative test is provided.

Check-In/Out

When you check in your children, they will receive a name tag to go on their shirt. Every child's name tag has a unique alphanumeric code on it - the parent receives a tag with the same code. At pick-up time after service, you must show your code to the classroom leaders. Only adults with the matching code and on the authorized pick-up list can take a child out of their room. We will also use the code on the screens in the main auditorium or a text message if we need you for any reason during service. For your first time registering for a child’s class, you can get a head start at check-in by filling out our online registration form!

Safety and Security

We have an incredible team of volunteers who are dedicated to building a relationship with you and your child and providing a safe and fun environment for kids to learn about Jesus. All of our adult volunteers and staff who have interactions with children have an extensive onboarding process, including background and reference checks, one on one interviews and training, and Ministry Safe sexual abuse awareness training.

Our safety team members patrol the children's wings, lobby, and main auditorium throughout service. Many of our staff and volunteers are CPR trained.

what is family ministry at cfcc?

The Family Ministry at CFCC was created to build a partnership between the church and the home. A partnership with the goal of establishing a solid foundation for Christ in every family here at CFCC. Together, the church and the home can be a powerful influence in the lives of the kids of this community. It’s our desire to see kids develop a life-transforming relationship with Christ that will last for the rest of their lives.

Within our Family Ministry we have 4 different programs. Click on the graphic below for more information about any of these great programs.

FAMILY RESOURCEs

Outside of our Children’s and Student Ministries programs, we hope to provide resources and opportunities for your family to grow closer to each other and closer to God. For example, each year we plan events like family movie nights, game nights, and parent’s night out.

You may have seen our Family Resource Center in one of our hallways. Check out these resources for families and parents.
