Children Ministry

The children of this community are a major priority at Carolina Forest Community Church.
We are here to provide a fun and exciting place to learn that God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend.
We use a creative and interactive curriculum, called 252 Basics. It is organized around key Bible stories that help kids discover Jesus and reflect His character to the world around them. And to make it easy to understand, everything is unpacked through the weekly Bottom Line—a short phrase that is easy to understand and remember as they go throughout their week.

Each week we invite kids into God’s story, to show them the character of God, all while helping them internalize these 3 Basic Truths:

  • I need to make the wise choice.
  • I can trust God no matter what.
  • I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Kids World meets each week during our worship services at 9:15 and 11:00 in the Student Center facility located in the back of the CFCC property. Families can check-in kids 15 minutes prior to each service at the check-in desk in the Student Center or in the Main Facility in the KidScape hallway.

Each Sunday during the adult worship services, our Preschoolers are involved in their KidScape classes. The children learn about the Bible through interactive play, hands-on activities, and creative Bible lessons, complete with music, skits, and teaching. The KidScape classes are located in the main building, and we will check in your preschoolers using our electronic check-in system.

Area 56 is a transitional Ministry for students in 5th and 6th grades in a time when everything in their life is, well, transitioning. We want to give them a place of their own where they can be challenged, ask questions, be hyper, and learn to interact with each other! Area 56 will meet every Sunday at 9:15am and 11:00am in Room 101.

Every summer since CFCC was founded, we have offered a program called Nick at Night. Hundreds of kids from the Carolina Forest community come out on Wednesday nights in June to learn more about Jesus and have fun doing it! This high energy community outreach promotes God-centered daily living through creative bible lessons, dancing, games, and more messy fun than you can stand.

VERGE serves 6th-12th grade students with tremendous success. God is moving among us and the results are stirring our faith to new levels and bringing boldness into our students like never before. All students (6th – 12th grades) meet on Tuesday nights at 6:00pm in the Student Center. When you arrive you can expect a welcoming atmosphere from both adults and students. We begin with a time of food and fellowship at 6:00. As the service starts at 6:30, you have the opportunity to engage in a powerful worship time with a live band and learn from a relevant teaching time.
